12x3, sw, Slawa Spomer, Ger  TKO 10  Milan Prat, Fra
Spomer retained the WBO Global title and won the WBA I-C crown with a dominating performance against the favored Prat, who obviously thought he had it but didn't. He showed what was supposed to be slick head movements but got clipped time and time again. He had an edge in power but Spomer stayed on top of him and beat him repeatedly to the punch. Prat was floored in the fourth and spat out his mouthpiece once to buy himself time - and the referee gave the corner plenty of time to clean  it. Prat came back a littlle as Spomer seemed to tire. But in the ninth Prat was down agiain, spat out his mouthpiece and had a point deducted - and was floored again in the same round (ruled as only the ropes kept him up). In the tenth Spomer floored Prat with a left hook and it was finally stopped. it was obvious by hy how it all played out thatt Milan Prat was to be the winner - but from the way he lost there is no way back. His corner or the referee should have stopped it sooner. Come Monday Prat was stripped of the EBU title. - Everybody told him he would be world champ - and he believed them, said a French insider.
