The WBA will introduce its European title this coming Sunday in Sunderland, England, when [Willie Casey] take on [Jason Booth] in a superbantam fight. Not every thing is working yet but the WBA plan to have a European title strictly for Europeans, which means they will look horns with the EBU.

 

 

The WBA have formally cut ties with its former European partner, the EBA that were associated with the WBA but never a formal subtitle.

The WBA and the EBA have had disputes before but this time it appears to be a final split between the two.

The EBA continues to operate though and still collaborate with many WBA officials.
