WBA lightheavy champ (standard version) Juergen Braehmer (46-2) defends the title September 5 in Dresden against Konni Konrad (22-1-1) in the headliner of a Sauerland Event promotion.

To say that Konrad is an underdog is to put it mildly. He began his in 2002 and racked up 15 straight wins before losing to Denis Inkin in 2006 and since then he´s been fighting on and off. He beat Bernard Donfack on a majority decision in 2013 and drew with Mehdi Amar in 2014 to hang on to the WBA Int´l title and his ranked # 13 by the WBA.
