Milan, 15 September 2015 -- Paul Malignaggi’s Italian fight on September 26 at Principe theater in Milan was announced a couple of weeks ago. Now we also know the name of his opponent: Hungarian Laszlo Fazekas, who has fought professionally 50 times building a record of 27 wins (17 kos), 21 losses, 1 draw and 1 no-contest. He fought many times in the U.K. always producing a good performance. There’s also a second news: the fight will be on the eight rounds distance (rather than the scheduled six rounds).

 

 

Besides the former two weight divisions world champion Malignaggi, OPI 2000 and Principe Boxing Events will offer two meaningful fights involving former Italian champions Antonio Moscatiello (welterweight) and Renato De Donato (super lightweight) against Hungarian counterparts. Power-puncher Moscatiello (18 wins-2 defeats-1 draw) will fight Jozsef Gerebecz (7-13-2). Moscatiello comes from several months of inactivity due to eye surgery (detached retina). De Donato will fight Gyula Tallosi (9-5). De Donato wants to challenge current Italian super lightweight champion Andrea Scarpa (whom he lost the belt to) and must produce a great performance to get the opportunity.
