WBFed superwelter champ Jan Zaveck (35-3) will defend the title November 14 at home in Maribor (Slovenia) against Argentinian Hector Saldivia (44-3), writes boxeo-boxing.com.

It’s the 39-year old Zaveck’s (pictured) first defence of the title he won in April with a points win over Sasha Yengoyan. He held the IBF title at welter 2009-2011 winning the title against Isaac Hlatswayo and losing it to Andre Berto.

German middleweight Dominik Britsch (29-2-1) continues his comeback with a fight against an opponent to be announced December 12 at the Kings Casino in Rozvadov (Czech Republic).

Britsch is now promoted by Thomas Holefeld but began his procareer with Sauerland Event in 2006. All went well, in fact very well, and Britsch was groomed for stardom but as he stepped up to main event status he fell apart and first drew and then lost to Roberto Santos. A disputed win followed by a loss to Soufiane Ouerghi ended his career with Sauerland in 2014.

Britsch returned to action late in August after over a year out and is only 28 so there is still time.

German Heavy Franz Rill (11-0) have stepped in as a substitute for Hungarian Zsolt Bogdan, who is injured, as challenger for the vacant EU title. In the other corner is already Italian champion Salvatore Erittu (27-2) and the fight will go ahead December 19 in Helsinki in a supporting bout to Erkan Teper’s defence of the EBU heavyweight title against Robert Helenius.

Both Rill and Teper are promoted by Z! Promotions and their fights will be televised in Germany by SKY Pay per View.

Robert Helenius (21-0) and Adrian Granat (8-0) are both to be sparringpartners for WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO champ Wladimir Klitschko as he prepares for the fight against Tyson Fury October 24 in Duesseldorf. Both heavyweights bring the height and weight to compare with Fury although neither are similar in style.

Helenius, the Nordic Nightmare, is in training for his fight December 19 against EBU champ Erkan Teper while Granat might have a fight coming up later in October.

Then came the news that Klitschko is injured and the fight against Fury is postponed so new plans are being made.
