July 4, Aabenraa, DEN: Ringriderteltet, Q Boxing Promotion
This show was held in a big circus tent on cold, rainy night with free entrance for the crowd. It was noteworthy that the officials all wore Q Boxing shirts.
Jose Luis Rodriguez Guerrero, 66,6, Guanajuato, Mex  W10-U  Mikkel Nielsen, 66,6, Odense, Den
Guerrero won the vacant GBU I/C title with a hardfought points win over Nielsen. It was scored 95-94 on all cards. Guerrero had a point deducted in the 7th after repeated low blows and both were cut and what became a war. But when it came to boxing the Mexican had the longer reach and knew how to use it and stunned Nielsen with a right and hurt him to the body with hard hooks. Nielsen never caved in though and kept coming and his strength and conditioning also played a part in this fight that became wild and unpredictable with both men whaling away. Guerrero´s better skills made the difference though even if Nielsen had a strong last round.
Abdul Khattab, 73,5, Cph, Den  W8-U  Rafal Jackiewicz, 73,5, Minsk Mazowiechi, Pol
80-72 on all cards. Khattab worked well and carefully behind his left with Jackiewicz, still capable but mainly content to last the distance without damage done, covering up well. A few seconds before the bell the Pole backed into his corner to be ready for a minute´s rest and he knew what he was doing.
10x2: Alicia Holzken, 50,2, Eindhoven, Nth  W10-U  Xenia Jorneac, 50,0, Hunedoara, Rom
Holzken won the vacant GBU and WIBF female titles on scores of 99-91 twice and 98-92 but it looked a lot closer than that. Holzken could never really figure out Jorneac´s southpaw style and appeared to lose it early on but then outworked her opponent and won the fight but she didn´t look good.
6x3: Oliver Mollenberg, 63,5, Gilleleje, Den  TKO 4 (0.55)  Giorgi Gviniashvili, 62,5, Gori, Geo
Mollenberg dominated the fight when Gviniashvili dislocated his left shoulder – and it was no fake, it was there for all to see and one of the cornermen pulled it back into position but the fight was over.
6x3: Ali Mohammed, 57,0, Skanderborg, Den  TKO 1 (2.08)  Joszef Ajtai, 55,0, Budapest, Hun
The first time Ajtai flopped over it was ruled a slip, the second time he was counted over and the third time it was stopped. Ajtai was much too small and showed no punch resistance or willingness to fight.
Jamshid Nazari, 64,0, Kristiansand, Nor  W6-U  Kahka Avetisian, 65,6, Gori, Geo
60-54 twice and 60-53 in this no knockdown affair. Avetisian was a late sub for Martin Fouda from Sweden. Nazari looked good but failed to follow up on his punches and Avetisian, a spoiler, survived easily.
4x3: Oliver Zaren, 90,0, Jyllinge, Den  TKO 1 (2.58)  Arid Dema, 94,0, Shqiptare, Alb
Dema was retired by his corner as he bled badly from the nose and he was the greenest of these two green debutants.
Jacob Porsgaard, 72,5, Gilleleje, Den  W4-U  Shalva Guchmazovi, 72,2, Gurdzhaani, Geo
40-36 on all cards. Porsgaard looked the part but tired a bit and Guchmazovi had his moments especially in the third.
4x3: Mahdi Jallaw, 61,0, Cph, Den  KO 1 (2.23)  Malkhaz Tatrishvili, 57,6, Gori, Geo
Tatrishvili was a late sub for someone and was first of all much too small but is inept a as well. Some would even say he is a bum. He Went down and out after a left hook to the body.
