While the [Said Ouali] vs [Karlo Tabaghua] fight was cancelled when Ouali was injured the BFN Group still goes ahead with the show at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp September 21. Jr middles [Jackson Osei Bonsu] and [Jimmy Colas] headlines in a clash for the vacant EU title. Osei Bonsu won a close decision over Colas last year but Jimmy won the French title in his last fight by stopping [Franck Haroche Horta] while Jackson, a local man, have struggled in his last few fights. In the co-feature [Delfine Persoon] and [Erin McGowan] fight for the IBF female lightweight title. Ring announcer will be Michael Buffer with the undercard made up by local fighters.

In the latest WBO ratings [Dmitry Pirog] is no longer listed as middleweight champ with Hassan N´Dam, formerly interim ruler, now the new champ. N´Dam, previosly WBA interim king, won the WBO interim title by beating [Maksim Bursak] in May.

The undercard to Pianeta vs Botha September 7 in Muehlheim an der Ruhr feature comebacking heavyweight [Markus Tomala] and welter [Sergio Vartanov]. Tomala take on Czech journeyman [Tomas Mrazek] while Vartanov is in against [Boris Berg] on this SES promotion.

Aug 25, Berlin, GER, O2 Arena, est 10 000, Sauerland Event / SES
[Arthur Abraham], 76,1, Ger W12-U [Robert Stieglitz], 76,1, Ger
Abraham won the WBO supermiddle title on scores of 116-112, 116-112 and 115-113 in a no knockdown affair that saw Stiegtlitz cut in four different places and badly bruised. Referee Joe Cortez ruled that all cuts had been caused by legal punches but it could be that the messy wrestling on the inside were to be blamed as well. Stieglitz was quicker and as always worked very hard but Abraham had the heavier punches and had Robert hurt in the fourth and fifth. Stieglitz scored with a heavy right in the ninth but Abraham took it well, secured the win by winning the tenth and eleventh and coasted in the last for a deserved win - but again it´s clear that Abraham is not the force he was at 160.

[Jack Culcay], 69,7, Ger TKO 3 (2.04) [Frederic Serre], 69,8, Fra
Culcay won the WBA I/C 154 lb title on a cut eye stoppage of Serre, who indeed was badly cut over the right eye. But what had caused the cut was more controversial as it was ruled it was a punch but no-one had seen it. The cut got worse after a clash of heads and was then waved off. It had shaped up interestingly with Serre agressive but countered by Culcay.
8x3: [Dustin Dirks], 78,9, Ger TKO 7 (2.05) [Sandro Siproshvili], 79,5, Geo/Cze
Siproshvili, badly cut on the nose and over the right eye and deadtired, began to talk to his corner during the seventh, he was told to shut up but continued and finally the corner got the message and threw in the towel ending a very exciting fight. Dirks, as always, was content to cover up and wear down his opponent but this time he got caught - early in the fifth - and Siproshvili opened up and had the German out on his feet for about two minutes, Dirks covered up but didn´t punch back and must have been very close to being stopped. But Sandro punched himself out and was a dead man in the last minute of the round.
10x3: [Robin Krasniqi], 78,3, Ger TKO 4 (0,46) [Serdar Sahin], 78,5, Ger
Krasniqi retained the WBO Int´l lightheavy title with a surprisingly easy stoppage of Sahin, who down from cruiser looked too slow and might have been dead on the weight. Krasniqi floored Sahin in the first with a right upercut and had some problems in the second and third as Serdar took the fight to him. Early in the third it was lights out though as Robin again landed with that upercut and Sahin was stopped as he got up.
[Tyron Zeuge], 77,4, Ger KO 3 (2.58) [Carlos Caicedo], 77,4, Ecu/Spa
Zeuge impressed as he took out Caicedo with right and left from a southpaw stance (he fights ortodox). Caicedo was up at "9,5" but ruled out.
[Felix Lamm], 63,4, Ger TKO 4 (1.33) [Eloy Rebollo], 63,0, Spa
Lamm established his southpaw jab and then floored Rebollo twice with left upercut-right hook combinations in the fourth and the towel came in.
