[Silvio Olteanu]´s defence of the EBU flyweight title against Italian veteran [Andrea Sarritzu] that was set for September 29 in Santa Teresa di Gallura in Italy is cancelled as Sarritzu is ill and unable to fight.
 
EBU bantam champ [Lee Haskins] will defend the title against Belgian challenger [Stephane Jamoye] November 10 in Bristol. The fight is promoted by Jamie Sanigar Promotions.
 
[James DeGale] defends the EBU supermiddle title on October 13 at "the Glow" in Kent against an opponent to be announced. On the same bill [Lenny Daws] and [Ville Piispanen] clash for the vacant EU jr welter belt.
 
 
[Andrea Di Luisa] and [Christopher Rebrasse] fight for the vacant EU supermiddle title  November 23 in Montefiascone, Viterbo, Italy.
 
Cruisers [Janne Forsman], 5-0, and [Marko Mononen], 4-0, duke it out for the vacant Finnish and BBU titles  October 6 in Joensuu. The show is promoted by Boxing Finlandia.
 
Estonian supermiddle [Anton Sjomkin] returns to action September 29 in Latvia in a four rounder against the ever dangerous tba. Two weeks later Sjomkin is lined up to fight [Lukasz Wawrzyczek] in Poland.
 
German-based heavy [Konstantin Airich] have indeed tested positive for a forbidden substance following his fight against [Odlanier Solis] in Texas and there is an investigation on the matter but he is still not suspended - and even if he was professional boxing in 2012 still lacks a unified suspension system and he would still be allowed to fight outside of the ABC jurisdiction even if a suspension is supposed to be respected. As it is Airich fights in Hamburg  October 12 against highly ranked Russian [Denis Boytsov]. On the same bill cruiser [Rakhim Chakhkiev] defends the WBC Baltic title against Argentinian champ Alejandro Emilio Valori and former WBC jr light champ [Vitali Tajbert] returns to action after a long layoff due to a hand injury.
