Former WBC middleweight champion [Sebastian Zbik] is now according to Hamburger Abendblatt taking legal action against Universum to get the purse from the fight against Felix Sturm April 13. Sturm Box Promotion paid a total of 250 000 EUR for Zbik´s services and Waldemar Kluch, who heads Universum, admitted to German media that Zbik hadn´t been paid and that his purse had spent on paying other debts.

Zbik got a first payment of 5000 EUR from Universum October 12 and when Sebastian asked when the rest would come he says he only got more excuses and have thus taken legal action.

Zbik´s move is risky as it could lead to bankrupcy for Universum - and how much money he will get then is an open question.

Universum and Kluch is also involved in a litigation with former owner Klaus Peter Kohl.

EBU flyweight champion [Silvio Olteanu] retained the title this past weekend with a very close, split 12-round decision over Italian veteran [Andrea Sarritzu].

Next up could be a third fight against [Valery Yanchy], who is the newly appointed mandatory challenger.

Olteanu, 14-6-1, and Yanchy, around 19-3-1, have previously fought twice - both very close fights ending in a majority decison draw and a split decision for Olteanu.

Both men are fighting out of Spain.

CSL Boxe will promote the fight for the vacant EBU middleweight title between [Julien Marie-Sainte], 32-3, and [Maksim Bursak], 23-1-2, January 26 in Aulnay sous Bois, France.

For Bursak, fighting out of Ukraine, it will be his second visit to France where he lost a wide decision to Hassan N´Dam in May in a fight for the WBO interim title.

P 3 Boxing in Finland will promote the fight for the vacant EU lightweight title between [Edis Tatli] and [Paolo Gassani] December 8 at the Ringside Gym in Espoo.

This will be an exclusive dinner show and was first scheduled for October 27 but was postponed when Sauerland - with P 3 as local partner - announced the return of [Robert Helenius] for November 10.
