Nov 10, Helsinki, FIN, Jäähalli, Sauerland (SPAG) / P 3 Boxing
10x3: Robert Helenius, 113,1, Fin  W10-U  Sherman Williams, 120,6, USA
Clear win for Helenius although he was badly stunned in the sixth after walking into an overhand right. Robert kept his cool though and was allright at the end of the round but was a lot more careful after that. It was scored 99-91, 98-93 and 99-93. I had it 98-92.
10x3: Patrick Nielsen, 72,4, Den  W10-U  Jamel Bakhi, 72,5, Bel
Nielsen retained the WBA I/C middleweight title on scores of 96-94, 97-95 and a too wide 99-91. Bahki, not in topshape, took four rounds (40-36 on two cards, 39-37 on the third) off before he went to work but when he did he was the superior boxer and scored well with his educated right. Nielsen was cut on the right eyelid after what seemed to be a clash of heads and it gave him some problems. Patrick, a southpaw, kept it together though for a close win - two more rounds and he would perhpas have lost.

Andreas Evensen  /  photo Hans Inge Moan

10x3: Andreas Evensen, 57,5, Nor  W10-U  Philippe Frenois, 57,5, Fra
100-90 twice and 99-91. Frenois showed good conditioning and good skills but is a very light puncher and concentrated on going the full ten as Evensen, a non puncher himself, worked very hard, winning the rounds but without getting anywhere.
8x3: Erik Skoglund, 78,9, Swe  TKO 1 (2.59)  Gyorgi Marosi, 79,2, Hun
Marosi was down twice from bodyshots.
8x3; Ahmed Rifaie, 72,5, Fra  TKO 8 (1.40)  Timo Laine, 72,5, Fin
Laine was too wide with his big hooks and soaked up a bad beating in an exciting, increasingly one-sided brawl. Laine got a bad cut by the right eye in the sixth and was a sitting duck at the end for Rifaie´s straight punches.
6x3: Fitim Latifi, 72,2, Fin   W6-U Alexander Jakobsen, 71,5, Nor
Latifi too skilled and fast for Jakobsen who was down in the fourth in a good matchup. 59-55 twice and 59-54.
6x3: Janne Katajisto, 118,0, Fin  W6-U Ivica Perkovic, 126,2, Cro
58-57 and 59-56 twice. Percovic could probably have won it had he fought all out but he is a spoiler´s spoiler and the Finnish Butterbean could outwork him without ever scoring with anything serious.
4x3: Micki Nielsen, 92,5, Den  TKO 1 (1.35)  Dzianis Vardomski, 91,4, Blr
A joke. Vardomski was totally inept and it was stopped before anyone got hurt.
4x3: Dennis Ceylan, 58,5, Den  W4-U  Anton Bekish, 59,0, Blr
39-37 twice and 40-37. Bekish was a lot smaller than Ceylan but the Dane kept missing and when he did land nothing happend. Still a clear win for Dennis.

Nov 10, Hamburg, GER, O2 Arena, K 2, bdb
Wladimir Klitschko, 247, Ukr   W12-U  Mariusz Wach, 251, Pol

c: Rahkim Chakhkiev, Rus  W10-U  Andres Taylor, US
100-89 twice and 99-89.
