Heavyweight Aleksander Dimitrenko, 32-2, returns to action December 21 in Usti nad Labem in the Czech Republic on a show promoted by former WBO and EBU jr middleweight king Lukas Konecny and Profiboxing.cz. Who Dimitrenko will face isn´t announced yet.
 
Dimitrenko was last seen in May when he was knocked out by Kubrat Pulev in a fight for the EBU title and the last few years have been troublesome for the big Ukrainian, who at one was compared with the Klitschkos.
 
Topping the bill in Usti nad Labem are lightweight Michael Dufek, 9-1-2, and Martin Parlagi, 7-0, in a fight for the national title and cruiser Roman Kracik, 34-10-1, is also on the bill.

EU heavy champ Richard Towers is sidelined with medical problems and has been forced to postpone his defence against Francesco Pianeta that was tentatively set for January 20 with SES promoting. No site has been announced.
 
A new date will as the EBU put it be announced in conjunction with the recover of Towers and in compliance with the foreseen terms.

The annual Boxing Day (Dec 26) show in Berne, Switzerland feature the prodebut of lightweight prospect Alain Chervet. The name should ring a bell and this is indeed a relative - a nephew - of the great flyweight Fritz Chervet, who held the EBU flyweight title in 72-73 and twice challenged for the WBC crown.
 
Alain take on Siarhei Afonin in a scheduled six-rounder on this Boxing Kings promotion.
 
In the headliner female superfly Aniya Seki defends the WBC Silver and WIBF titles against Oksana Romanova from Ukraine.
 
Also on the bill are heavyweight Arnold "the Cobra" Gjergjaj and cruiser Nuri Seferi. Seferi face experienced Czech Lubos Suda while Gjergjaj is in against Yuri Bihoutseu.
