“Maravilla” Martínez golden oldie

Sergio "Maravilla" Martínez vowed he is that he’s in the best shape of his career. Martinez will fight against Martin Murray this Saturday in the first defense of his WBC middleweight title.

“This preparation has been harder than when I faced Chavez. I’ve waiting for this moment my entire career, I feel very mature, with a lot of experience plus I have great condition, the best of all my life” Sergio said.

Martinez assured that he’s totally healed from his knee and hand injury.

“I’m fully recovered from the injuries I suffered from my fight with Chavez, I’m ready to fight” he said.

"Maravilla" Martínez is excited to return to fight in his homeland Argentina after eleven years. He fought the last time on February 2, 2002 when he defeated Francisco Mora by decision with an attendace of 1,500 people, now on Saturday.
