Hatton Promotions won the purse bids in Rome for EBU jr middle champ Sergey Rabchenko´s mandatory defence of the title against Frenchman Cedric Vitu.

Hatton bid 69,696,00 Euro while EuroProm from France came in second with a bid for 47,300,00 Euro.

Date and site is to be announced.

Rabchenko was represented by his manager Philippe Fondu while EuroProm had Giulio Spagnoli as its representative.

EU middleweight champ Marcos Nader defends the title against Spaniard Luis Crespo September 14 in Stuttgart on Sauerland´s big show there that is headlined by Marco Huck vs Firat Arslan II. Nader´s defence was first set for August 31 and with Vienna as site but was moved then moved to Stuttgart.

Yesterday the EBU announced that Spaniard Ivan Ruiz Morote wasn´t a suitable opponent for EBU bantam champ Stephane Jamoye, who will make a voluntary defence of the title September 29 in Herstal, Belgium. Today it´s announced that French former world title challenger at superfly Karim Guerfi from France steps in as opponent. Off the bill in Herstal is EBU female superlight champ Sabrina Giuliani, who was to have defended the title against a never announced opponent.

Italian Round Zero Promotions have announced a double-header for September 21 in Rome with EBU lightweight champ Emiliano Marsili, 26-0-1 in a voluntary defence against Georgian Kakhaber Avetisian, 20-18-1 - and it does seem as if Avetisian is in deep water. In the co-headliner Frenchman Hadillah Mohoumadi, 15-3-1, and Giovanni De Carolis, 20-4, clash for the vacant EU supermiddle title. Mohoumadi is reigning national champ and upset Pawel Glazewski in his last fight.
