It´s a busy October for SES. First there is of course the show in Leipzig October 19 with WBO supermiddle champ Robert Stieglitz headlining against Nigerian challenger Isaac Ekpo. IBF lord of the flies Moruti Mthalane defends the title against Silvio Olteanu and WBO Youth lightheavy ruler Domenico Boesel take on Mirco Ricci. Not announced yet is that former IBF welter king Jan Zaveck, 32-3, will return to action. It will be Zaveck´s first fight since losing a wide decision to Keith Thurman in New York City in March. The 37-year old Zaveck still have hopes for a big fight or two.

On October 26 SES stage a show billed "Schwere Jungs" in Frankfurt an der Oder with heavy Francesco Pianeta and lightheavy Robin Krasniqi headlining. For Pianeta, 26-1-1, this will be his first fight since losing to Wladimir Klitschko while Krasniqi, 40-3, is in his second fight since losing to Nathan Cleverly in a shot at the WBO title. Sep 7, Frederikshavn, DEN, Arena Nord, est 1500, Sauerland Promotion AG
Patrick Nielsen, 72,5, Den W12-U Patrick Majewski, 72,0, US
Nielsen defended the WBA I/C and won the vacant WBO I/C title with a lopsided win over "the Machine" Majewski. It was scored 118-109, 119-108 twice. Nielsen, a southpaw, followed the battle plan laid out by trainer Joey Gamache almost to perfection and Majewski just didn´t know shit about fighting a southpaw. Majewski touched down in the fifth after a left caught him. It became a boring fight as Nielsen never tried to finish his outclassed opponent and Majewski looked embarrassing helpless in his inability to cut the ring off and throw punches.
10x2: Cecilia Braekhus, 65,0, Nor TKO 9 (1.51) Oxandia Castillo, 66,4, D R
Braekhus retained the WBO, WBC and WBA female welter titles and handed out a one-sided beating to the hardpunching but limited Castillo. Cecilia was out to show something and came out for every round to punish her opponent. Castillo was never floored but was out on her feet when it was stopped. 79-73 twice and 78-74 for Braekhus after eight.
8x3: Dennis Ceylan, 57,8, Den TKO 1 (1.55) Tommi Schmidt, 58,7, Den
Schmidt was floored twice and the towel came in to rescue him. Schmidt announced his retirement the day after.
Ahmed Kaddour, 70,4, Den W6-U Aleksei Tsatsiashvili, 71,0, Est
58-56, 59-55 and 60-54. Kaddour won the first two, then tired and was under some pressure in the next two but put it together in the final two for a deserved if not impressive win.
Rashid Kassem, 61,0, Den W6-U Yordan Vasilev, 61,1, Bul
60-54 on all cards. Kassem tried everything in the book to get Vasilev out of there but was too eager and loaded up too much.
4x3: Tim-Robin Lihaug, 76,2, Nor/Den TKO 1 (0.57) Tzvetozar Iliev, 77,0, Bul
Lihaug threw a four punch combination and a right upercut did the trick. Iliev was up before ten but was ruled out and it was announced as a KO.
Simen Smaadal, 75,9, Nor W6-U Olegs Fedotovs, 75,5, Lat
59-55 twice and 60-53. Smaadal had an injured hand and Fedotovs was booked to fight next weekend - but it still became a hardfought if messy fight wildly cheered by the Norwegians in attendance.
6x3: Oscar Ahlin, 79,3, Swe TKO 2 (2.13) Egidijus Kakstys, 76,9, Lat
Ahlin, the Golden Boy, floored Kakstys, a late sub for Artem Solomko, twice with bodyshots. Ahlin is one to follow,, very special, got that charisma.
Anthony Yigit, 63,5, Swe W6-U Andrei Staliarchik, 64,0, Blr
Staliarchuk came in on two days notice for Toni Delgado and was in trouble in the second as Yigit went to the body. Staliarchuk proved to be in good shape though, very tricky and lasted the distance. It was scored 60-54 twice and 60-53.
4x3: Otto Wallin, 96,8, Swe TKO 2 (0.50) Valery Semishkur, 121,5, Est
Semishkur was floored hard early in the second, the towel came in but the ref didn´t see it and Valery was floored again before it was stopped. Semishkur was rusty, overweight and badly out of shape.
