10x3: Patrick Nielsen, 72,5, Den TKO 5 (2.59) Jose Pinzon, 72,5, Mex
Nielsen retained the WBA and WBO I/C titles with an actionpacked stoppage of crude, strong but limited Mexican Jose Pinzon. Nielsen´s temper got the best of him in the first two as Pinzon came forward slugging it out and scoring with solid hooks to the body. All three judges gave the second to Pinzon. In the third, fourth and fifth Nielsen cooled off, moved better and scored with hard counters from his southpaw stance. Late in the fifth Pinzon walked into a left, went down and was hurt. After a lenghty check referee Lahcen Oumghar waved it off - most felt Pinzon should have been given another chance but Pinzon was on his way out either way. It was scored 39-37 after four.

Patrick Nielsen and Jose Pinzon

Dennis Ceylan, 57,1, Den W8-U Edgar Torres, 57,1, Mex

80-72 on all cards in a boring, boring fight.
