Sauerland Promotion stage a giant 12-fight / 90 scheduled rounds of boxing show when Nordic Fight Night hits Esbjerg (Denmark) on Saturday April 12.

 

Topping the bill is Swede Erik Skoglund (19-0) defending the EBU-EU lightheavy title against Italian Danilo D’Agata (12-1-1). Skoglund begins as a big favourite against an opponent who actually wasn’t even in the EU ratings before getting this chance as he replaced injured compatriot Stefano Abateangelo.

 

Hidden on the undercard is Irish middleweight Andy Lee (31-2) who face Frenchman Franck Harroche Horta (34-12-5) over eight. Harroche Horta is a light puncher but is other than that a capable performer who have a number of disputed losses and draws against him.

 

Former EBU cruiser champ Mateusz Masternak (31-1) face Croatian Stjepan Vugdelija (8-2) in the show closer and don´t expect many local fans to stay for that one.

 

Swedish superlight Anthony Yigit (9-0-1) square off against Dane Kasper Bruun (19-0-1) for the vacant WBC Baltic title in what should be an interesting fight but Yigit should be able to win it. He is promoted by Sauerland and trained by Joey Gamache while Bruun currently is a freelancer fighting for a contract and have announced he will retire in case of a loss.

 

Heavyweight David Price (16-2) shouldn't have any problems with Czech Ondrey Pala (33-4) in a scheduled eight rounder. Pala isn't bad but tends to fall apart when under pressure.

 

EBU lightweight champ Emiliano Marsili will defend the title against Frenchman Anthony Mezaache June 7 in Tolfa (Italy) with OPI 2000 as promoter.
