German lightheavyweight Karo Murat, last seen in action in October of last year losing to Bernad Hopkins, have signed a four-year contract with EC Boxing in Hamburg, writes boxen-heute.de.

 

Murat’s contract with Sauerland Event expired at the end of the year and wasn’t renewed.

 

Karo will make his debut for EC October 31.

 

Murat (25-2-1) have previously been trained by Ulli Wegner in Berlin but will now switch camp to Oktay Urkal and Hamburg.
