EBU lightweight champion Emiliano Marsili (29-0-1) will make a voluntary defence of the title September 27 in Viterbo (Italy) and the opponent will be Hungarian Gyorgy Miszei, Jr (20-10).

Miszei, Jr, won the vacant EU title earlier this year with an upset win over Brunet Zamora and lost the title in his first defence to Jean Pierre Bauwens but it was a controversial stoppage. Still, it looks like a relatively easy fight for Marsili.

Unbeaten heavyweights Arnold Gjergjaj (pictured) and Adnan Redzovic clash for the vacant EBU EE-EU title October 4 in Basel (Switzerland).

Gjergjaj (25-0) is claimed to have a harder punch than Wladimir Klitschko but have never fought anywhere near that level and has been brought along very carefully.

The 37-year old Redzovic (15-0) have of lately fought on the undercards to Felix Sturm´s fights in Germany but have in his ten year career never fought anyone of note so it is an interesting test for both. Especially, Gjergjaj have strong backing from his home country of Kosova.
