Team Sauerland will stage a big press conference on Thursday in Berlin to present its planning for the next few years, including a new TV partner. German paper der Spiegel have reported that the network in question is SAT 1 and that the deal is for eight shows a year. As for the financial side to it it’s reported that SAT1 will pay about half of the what Sauerland’s soon to be former network partner - ARD - does. ARD have reportedly paid as much as 1,5 million Euro for show and less for some. There are also rumors of a some kind of deal with SKY in the UK.

As for ARD they will continue with professional boxing but buy shows from different promoters at least for 2015.

h: Berredjem, Fra W 4 Ignac Kassai, Hun
Sep 27, Kiel, GER, Sparkassen Arena, Sauerland Event
Arthur Abraham, 76,2, Ger W12-U Paul Smith, 75,9, UK
Abraham retained the WBO supermiddleweight title on scores of 117-111 twice and 119-109 - all numbers that looked too wide but the right man won. Abraham is probably well past his best and the wild barrages from yesterday are gone but what remains is a primitive yet effective boxer, who knows how to pace himself and when to work and when not to work. Smith was in it the first four rounds but Abraham broke through in the fifth and the Englishman allowed the fight to slip away from him. Abraham sealed the win with a strong finish. Smith had many supporters on hand including Richie Hatton, George Groves and Johnny Nelson.
4x3: Luke Watkins, 90,0, Uk W4-U Martin Horak, 90,8, Cze
Poor fight that didn´t really belong on a show like this. Watkins won on scores of 40-36, 39-37 and 38-38 but it could have gone either way. Horak, a southpaw, gave Watkins, trained by Paddy Fitzpatrick, plenty of problems with his awkward moves.
6x3: Fouad El Massoudi, 69,5, Fra W6-U Armen Torosyan, 69,2, Arm/Ger
Torosyan, downright arrogant, came out punching but kept missing and El Massoudi outboxed him for a win on scores of 60-54, 59-56 and 58-56. El Massoudi did nothing special, just made his opponent miss and made him pay.
12x3: Vincent Feigenbutz, 75,5, Ger TKO 3 (1.11) Guram Natsuslishvili, 75,5, Spa
Feigenbutz, "Iron Junior", retained the WBO I/C interim and GBU I/C supermiddleweight titles with another impressive stoppage win. Natsusishvili was floored twice and had bad swellings around both eyes at the end but did land some good righthanders but Feigenbutz was too strong for him. A left hook followed by a right caused the first knockdown and the towel came in as Guram went down the second time.
10x3; Noel Gevor, 88,5, Ger TKO 7 (1.18) Tamas Lodi, 90,0, Hun
Very onesided as Gevor outboxed his slow but strong looking opponent. Lodi was down in the third, and took a standing eight count in the fifth after what looked like a low blow and was down again in the seventh. With Gevor pouring it on it was finally stopped.
8x3: Enrico Kölling, 80,7, Ger TKO 6 (1.07) Daniel Regi, 80,0, Hun
Kölling treated like a sparring session and took a long time to wear down Regi, who was down in the fourth and twice in the fifth and finally in the seventh before it was stopped.
8x3: Mateusz Masternak, 89,7, Pol W dq 4 Ben Nsafoah, 85,0, Ger
Nsafoah, fighting for the most part as a southpaw and came in as a sub for Gabor Halasz, retired after four rounds of boxing where he bascially just tried to survive.
6x3: Stefan Härtel, 76,8, Ger W dq 4 (2.50) Leo Tchoula, 78,8, Ger
Tchoula had a point deducted in the third for a protest and stuck his tongue out twice against his opponent and that was it - he was dq:d. Härtel had up until then done a number on him and Leo´s eyes were pretty swollen.
Matthew Macklin, 73,0, Uk W8-M Jose Yebes, 73,0, Spa
77-75 twice and 76-76 after a hardfought battle where Macklin´s bigger punch won it for him. Yebes kept coming and had Macklin under pressure in many rounds and the Brit faded a bit late in the fight but put up a good last round.

Sep 27, Moscow, RUS:
Grigorz Drozd, 198,25, Rus W12-U Krzystof Wlodarczyk, 199, Pol
Drozd won the WBC cruiserweight title on scores of 118-110 and 119-108 twice. After four it was scored 39-37 twice and 39-38. Wlodarczyk was down late in round eight.

Lebedev retained the WBA title with clean KO win over Kolodziej.
12x3: Andrey Knyazev, 90,3, Rus TKO 4 Shalva Jomardashvili, 90,3, Geo
WBO Oriental title. Jomardashvili was down in the first and third due to bodypunches and it was stopped due to a claimed arm injury.

Kudjoe was down in the second.

Should have been for the Italian supermiddleweight title but Velarde pulled out after the weighin with no reason given (but apparently it was a panic attack).
