Lightheavyweight Chauki Harnasi, according to boxrec.com based in Cologne, Germany, entered the ring February 28 in Duisburg (again according to boxrec) with a perfect record of 0-16-0. In Duisburg Harnasi was stopped in one by Sotirios Georgikeas. Mr Harnasi then travelled across the border to the Netherlands and was March 1 - one day later - whacked out in one by Andanik Mirzoyan and is now still perfect at 0-18. It should be noted that the fight permit for the fight March 1 was issued on February 16 which could mean that Harnasi stopped over in Duisburg for some spare change as a very late substitute.

The Nordic Nightmare, Robert Helenius (19-0) is in full training for his comeback March 21 in Tallinn (Estonia).

Helenius spent the weekend sparring with Icelandic heavyweight Gunnar Kolbeinn Kristinsson (1-0). Who Helenius will fight is announced on Thursday.

As for the contractual dispute with Sauerland Event Team Helenius feels they are out of the contract simple as that.

This is something Sauerland strongly disagree with but if they actually can prevent Helenius from fighting is a different thing. There's most likely more to come on this.

Kolbein Kristinsson, the only active proboxer from Iceland, fights veteran Edgars Kalnars March 14 in Vasa (Finland).

EC Boxing’s show in Berlin March 6 is now headlined by a fight for the Int’l German cruiser title between Sven Haselhuhn (9-13) and Ehsan Maudodi (6-0).

Also on the bill is Raja Amasheh (17-0-1) vs Teeraporn Pannimit (20-7) in a fight for the WBC Silver female flyweight title.

Swedish lightheavy Sven Fornling (5-0) take on Leo Tchoula (9-10). Fornling has been in Hamburg to spar with EBU champ Igor Michalkin, who is in training for his mandatory defence of the title against Hakim Chioui March 13.

Finn Edis Tatli (23-1) is now the official challenger for EBU lightweight champ Emiliano Marsili (31-0-1). The EBU have set March 16 at noon as final day for purse bids.

Tatli gets his chance after Dejan Zlaticanin withdrew to fight a WBC eliminator.

Edis Tatli fought WBA champ Richar Abril this past fall and lost after a good fight. He needed a win to be considered for the EBU title and got one in January when he stopped Olegs Vilcans (1-8) in 40 seconds of a disgraceful mismatch that however served its purpose.

This is Marsili’s fifth defence of the title he won when he beat Luca Giacon in 2013.

WBO have made ex-champ Robert Stieglitz mandatory for supermiddle champ Arthur Abraham thus setting up a fourth fight between these two. Abraham leads 2-1.

SES and Sauerland now enter a period of negotiations. If no deal reached there will be purse bids and after that there´s 90 days to stage the fight.

SES won the purse bids for Stieglitz vs Abraham III (when Stieglitz was champion) with an offer 3 135 000 USD. As it was Abraham won a close, split decision after 12 heated rounds of boxing in March of 2014.

The WBO have ordered its superchamp at jr heavyweight (or cruiserweight) Marco Huck to defend the title against Krzystof Glowacki. The parties have 15 days or until March 4 to reach an agreement. If no deal the WBO will call for purse bids. The minimum bid for a WBO jr heavyweight division is USD 300 000.

For Huck this will be his first fight since leaving Sauerland Event.
