Boxing Club Bruaysien of France won purse bids today in Rome for Kevin Satchell´s mandatory defence of the EBU flyweight title against Thomas Masson with a bid for 33 785,00 Euro. Queensberry Promotion bid 25 000,00 Euro.
 
Satchell (14-0) won the title last year with a points win over Valery Yanchy and this his first defence.
 
Masson (12-3-1) holds the national title.
 

Date and site is to be announced.

IBF I/C superwelter champ Marcello Matano (14-1) defends the title against German Mathias Zemski (15-2) May 23 in Ferrara (Italy) on a Boxe Loreni promotion. Zemski holds the GBA version of the German title but given the recent doping scandal in Germany on a GBA sanctioned show and the following IBF suspension of the GBA Mathias will fight on a BDB license.

WBO # 3 superbantam Zsolt Bedak (24-1-0) tunes up April 17 in Budakalasz (Hungary) against Spaniard Sergio Romero (8-4-3) in a scheduled ten rounder that headlines this Felix-Promotion. Next up could be a WBO eliminator against # 1 ranked Genesis Servania (26-0). The parties await a date for purse bids after.
 
Also on the bill in Budakalasz are cruiser Imre Szello (5-0), lightheavy Richard Baranyi (10-0) and featherweight Robert Laki ( 8-0).

Superwelters Orlando Fiordigiglio (21-0) and Cedric Vitu (41-2) clash for the vacant EBU title June 13 in Brescia (Italy) on a Boxe Loreni promotion.
 
Boxe Loreni bid 62 250,00 Euro for the right to stage the fight and it is an exciting matchup for the title left vacant by Jack Culcay.

Unbeaten cruiser prospect Issa Akberbayev (15-0) defends the GBC title June 12 in Berlin against Brazilian Julio Cesar Dos Santos (27-4).
 
Akberbayev is from Kazachstan and is promoted by GGG Promotions headed by Gennadyi Golovkin.
 
Dos Santos have on his two previous visits to Europe lost to Tony Bellew and Micki Nielsen.
 
In the headliner Giuseppe Lauri (55-16) defends the GBC superwelter title against Robert Maess (13-0). Lauri is from Italy but lives in Hungary and won the title with a one punch knockout over Rico Schulz in what was regarded as a big upset.
