Sirenko was fast out of the gate and worked the body with a left hook. Wallin did alright to begin with but was second best after the fourth, fell behind on points and looked tired in a fight without highlights where Sirenko was winning without looking that sharp.. Then late in the tenth Sirenko landed with a right that appeared to land on the temple and it was lights out for the Swede. A left hook followed and then another followed and Wallin fell hard to the canvas and didn't move. The count was suspended and it looked bad but Otto made it up and appeared to be alright - but it was a poor performance by him. Head coach Ronnie Shields was in Australia with Errol Spence and assistant Travia Pierce was in the corner with Wallin, who appeared to try on a style based on strength and power instead of the slick southpaw boxing he used when Joey Gamache was the head coach. After nine it was scored 88-83, 90-81 and 89-82 Sirenko.
