Serrano retained the WBO title with on scores of 116-112 twice and 114-114 - but should consider herself very lucky that two of the judges voted the MVP way.

Mortensen, somehow floored in the second by a body punch that didn't seem to land, won the vacant WBA title on scores of 95-94 twice with Flores winning by 95-94 on the third card. Once past the second it was close and hard fought all the way with Mortensen scoring with the harder, cleaner puncher while Flores kept coming, working very hard but was seldom effective. All in all it was a difficult fight to score. I had 95-94 Flores, who suffered a broken jaw in the third or fourth round.
