May 30, Copenhagen, DEN, Frederiksberg Hallerne, DFN (Bettina Palle) 8x3: Morike Oulare, 90,2, Ita TKO 2 ( Hamza Hussein, 90,7, Den After a quiet first round where Oulare threw some wild swings and Hussein, a southpaw, boxed on the move the Italian knocked down the Dane early in the second. He got up and looked alright - but moved too much and in the wrong direction and was caught by a right hand and went down again. This time he was hurt for real and as he got up it was waved off. 6x3: Nikolay Piddubbny, 102,2, Den TKO 3 (2.03) Zoran Paunovic, 115,4, Ser PIddubbny worked the body and Paunovic, a decent boxer, fell apart and only the ropes held him up in the second half. In the third the Serbian was floored and it was stopped as Piddubbny poured it on. 10x3: Kolbeinn Kristinsson, 118,2, Ice TKO 5 Pavel Sour, 110,4, Cze Kristinsson started slowly (apparently he had a leg injury) and Sour was off to a good start - then late in the second Sour landed with a decent right and Kolbeinn came into his corner bleeding from a cut over the left eye. It wasn't that bad but no one worked on it and then the "cut woman" came but she didn't get either space or time to work on it. In the third everything got worse for Kolbeinn it was a bloody, dramatic round as Sour opened up but tired and the Ice Bear had to slug it out. The fourth began with a time out to inspect the cut but the doctor said ok and now Kristinsson found the punch - a left hook to the body - he had been looking for and Sour went down - and spat out his mouthpiece. He got up though and the war continued with Kolbeinn bleeding badly but he knocked down Sour twice more and had a point deducted after losing his mouthpiece. Sour was a spent force and when knocked down again early in the fifth the towel came in. After four it was scored 37-35x2 and 38-35 for Kolbeein. I had 37-36 for the Ice Bear after four. 4x3: Lucas Ashira, 72,6, Den KO 1 (1.32) Zaza Amiradze, ?, Geo Amiradze was a last minute sub for Silviu Catrinescu and did ok to begin with but went down and out from a left hook to the body and sat the count out. 4x2: Anne Munk, 52,5, Den W4-U Tijana Draskovic, 52,3, Ser Munk started slowly but got going in the last two and salvaged a draw on my card. The judges had it 39-37 twice and 40-36. 4x3: Emin Kadre Eminsson, 66,6, Ice W4-U Erik Mato, 65,3, Hun Eminsson worked hard but was too eager and was seldom effective. Mato went down in the last round and lost on scores of 40-35 on all cards. 6x3: Ajet Jusufi, 76,1, Swe TKO 2 (2.13) Ladislav Nemeth, 74,8, Slo Nemeth was dangerous early with well timed swings but "the Buzzsaw" kept a fast pace and floored the Slovakian with a southpaw right hook and left. Nemeth was almost down again as the bell rang. In the second Nemeth was under steady pressure from the Swede who kept landing his left uppercut and it was stopped - too soon for some but it was a one sided fight. 4x3. Jihad Khattab, 92,5, Den KO 2 (1.43) Istvan Kiss, 92,7, Hun Kiss went down and out from a barrage of punches topped by a right - and should lose some 20 kg. Khattab was also too heavy. This was his pro debut.
