Oct 15, Enghien, FRA, Casino, Palatina Boxe (Franck Nicotra)
12x3, sw: Milan Prat, Fra  W12-U  Brandon Thysse, RSA
Prat won the vacant IBO super welter title on scores of 113-111 twice and 114-110. It started well but in the second Prat was stunned by a right and almost went down but he countered and floored Thysse with a left hook. The South African was hurt but got up fought on but he lost the third and fourth - but came back in the fifth and then it started: he floored Prat in the sixth, seventh and eighth in a wild shootout where Thysse was very rough on the inside and Prat retaliated in the 8th with a low blow. Thysse got a long time out to recover although there was no points deduction (and how deliberate the low blow was is an open question) - and Prat recovered well, got throught the round. From the ninth round onwards the Frenchman dominated the fight with Thysse giving it his all (and that included everything). In the 12th Brandon went all out even more and was hurt but lasted the distance. Very tough fight - Prat is  a very good fighter but his chin is not very good.
