Euro NewsBy Per-Ake Persson Felix-Promotion from Hungary, headed by Felix Racz have now announced its program for the late winter and spring. February 16 in Gyor former IBO jr middle champ Attila Kovacs (pictured), 28-4, headline with supermiddle Balasz Kelemen, 16-0, cruisers Sandor Nagy, 7-0, and Csaba Faur, 3-0, in supporting fights.Then in Szentes March 23 the show will be headlined by middleweights Mark Lajos Nagy, 12-0, vs Michal Pechacek, 10-2, in an international title fight. In the chief supports Kovacs and Sandor Nagy will fight for the vacant national titles against opponents to be announced with Kelemen in a non-title ten rounder. Finally, there´s a show set for May 11 in Szigethalom where the main fights are yet to be announced. Felix-Promotion have landed a network deal and the details will be announced soon. *********************** P 3 Boxing in Finland will promote show early with undefeated lightweight Edis Tatli, 17-0, topping the bill with cruiser Juho Happoja, 18-3-1, returning after the loss to Mateusz Masternak in a fight for the vacant EBU title. Tatli recently relinquished the EU crown to move in another direction and will be moved towards another belt. Full details will be announced later this week. *********************** IBF female jr middle champ Jennifer Retzke could be defending the title against Mikaela Lauren March 30 in Stockholm, Sweden. The fighters are in agreement but as always in Sweden there´s a special permission needed to allow the fight to go over ten two minute rounds. The max distance allowed in Sweden is 12 minutes and beyond that you need special permission the Martial Arts Delegation. *********************** Leonard Bundu´s, 28-0-2, defence of the EBU welterweight title against Pole Rafael Jackiewicz, 42-10-2, will go ahead April 6 in Rome. Boxe Loreni, headed by Mario Loreni, wanted to do the fight in Florence but the venue wasn´t available and TV insisted on April 6 as date and thus the fight landed in Rome and Bundu lost hometown advantage.
