Tim-Robin Lihaug, 75,9, Nor W8-U Simen Smaadal, 74,4, Nor
The first all Norwegian matchup since Thomas Hansvoll fought Ole Klemetsen and Thomas was cutman for Smaadal with Ole offering moral support for Lihaug (trained by Ulf Johansen). Lihaug had the better punch and better chin and that proved the difference as he walked through the very brave Smaadal over eight hardfought and exciting rounds. Smaadal was cut over the right after a clash of heads and was down in the sixth. Simen was on the verge of being stopped in some rounds but somehow survived (helped by several timeouts for losing his mouthpiece) and fought back right until the end. It was scored 77-74, 78-73, 77-73.

Cecilia Braekhus, 64,8, Nor W10-U Ivana Habazin, 66,0, Cro
Braekhus retained the WBA, WBO and WBC titles and added the IBF belt to her collection with a clear points win over Ivana Habazin. It was scored 100-90 on all cards - scoring one can´t say much about. It was one-sided with the First Lady better in every department but unable to finish it.
6x3: Yevgeni Makhteienko, 79,2, Ukr TKO 3 (2.11) Alexander Hagen, 79,0, Nor
Hagen floored his opponent in the first, won the second as well but walked into a good right in the third and went down in his own corner, got up but was stopped.
Erik Skoglund, 79,2, Swe W12-U Stefano Abatangelo, 79,0, Ita
Skoglund retained the EU title and won the vacant IBF I/C title on scores of 118-109, 120-106 and 118-108. Abatangelo had points deducted for headbutts in the fourth and eleventh. Skoglund was out fast, too fast it proved in the later rounds in what became a messy fight with a lot more wrestling than boxing.
Klara Svensson, 62,8, Swe W10-U Marie Riederer, 62,8, Ger
WBC interim female superlightweight title. 100-90 twice and 99-91. Svensson controlled the fight from the outside counterpunching Riederer in her awkward style. Riederer kept coming and got through a few times but could never keep it up.
8x3: Micki Nielsen, 90,8, Den TKO 2 (1.52) Tamas Bajzeth, 198,5, Hun
All too easy for Nielsen against a soft looking opponent who was stunned by a southpaw right hook late in the first and floored twice in the second before it was stopped.
8x3: Armen Torosyan, 69,0, Ger KO 1 (2.00) Torben Keller, 69,4, Den
Torosyan caught Keller with a big right seconds into the fight and the Dane went down. He got up, held on but was floored again but got up again. Torosyan was wild and walked into a left that made his knees buckle. Later in the round he floored Keller a third time and it was stopped. It was ruled a KO. Torosyan had floored Keller in sparring as well and this fight was not the best piece of matchmaking from Sauerland. Keller showed early in his career (vs Arrigo) a fragile chin.
Abdul Khattab, 72,5, Den W6-U Goran Milenkovic, 72,0, Ser
60-52 twice and 60-51. Milenkovic was down in the first and third and was just too slow for Khattab, who shows quick hands and good power.
Adrian Granat, 108,5, Swe/Ger W6-U Tomas Mrazek, 106,5, Cze
60-53, 60-54 twice. Granat dominated the fight scoring well with hooks to the body and late in the fifth Mrazek, a southpaw was ready to go but he survived and also took Granat to school. Adrian was forced to pace himself and had his first real profight.
Landry Kore, 72,5, Den TKO 3 (0.11) Michal Vosyka, 70,5, Cze
Vosyka was almost floored at once and took a pounding throughout. He was allowed out from the corner in the third but a timeout followed and the ringside physician called it off due to a bad cut by the left eye.

Stjepan Vugdelija, 89,3, Cro W dq 5 Maurizio Lovaglio, 85,7, Ita
Vugdeilja won the vacant EU cruiserweight title as referee Daniel Van De Wiele dq:d the local man. I heard that even the promoter agreed with the decision as Lovaglio apparently panicked under pressure.
