Nov 27, Jönköping, SWE, Kulturhuset Spira, Fight Life Promotion (Kamran Kabinejad) / Tomas Magui "Night of the Champions" / Fight Life 8. Pro-am show with "Team Sweden" vs Norway, however, only one Norwegian arrived so the "opponents" were from Germany, Finland and Latvia. As for the sole Norwegian, well, he woke up sick in the hotel room and was unable to fight. 10x2: Patricia Berghult, 67,5, Swe W10-U Olivia Belkacem, 68,5, Swi Berghult won the vacant WBC female super welter title on scores of 96-94 and 97-93 twice after a messy fight with no highlights. Berghult fought a careful, tactical fight boxing on the move looking to counter her opponent. Belkacem, tall and rangy, slugged away when she could but lacked the skills to do any real damage but as Berghult just didn't punch enough the fight got close, so close that it ended up a draw on my card. Bergult was cut by the right eye and it was apparently a bad one. 6x3: Pezhman Seifkhani, 113,9, Swe TKO 2 (0.34) Denis Tsaryuk, 95,0, Rus Seifkhani, much bigger, won the first and then heads clashed early in the second. Tsaryuk was cut on the forehead and the doctor ruled he was unable to continue. Somehow this was ruled a tko win for Seifkhani. 6x2: Marios Kollias, 101,0, Gre/Swe KO 1 (2.01) Awadh Tamim, 108,2, Tan/Swe    Tamim came out fast and stunned Kollias but then his chin let him down and he went down from a left hook. He got up but never recovered and the two slugged it out with Kollias getting the better of the exchanges with his good left hook. Tamim was hurt for real late in the round and went down along the ropes and it was stopped as he somehow got up. 4x3: Geriso Aduashvili, 89,3, Geo KO 1 (1.30)  Marcus Alberts, 90,0, Swe Aduashvili looked like a genuine loser but his wild swings caught Alberts just about every time he threw them. Alberts was first stunned, then hurt and finally went down. He staggered up but was stopped and protested wildly. Later in the evening he announced his retirement.    4x3: Paolo Magui, 61,2, Swe  W4-U  Ilia Valishvili, 61,9, Geo 40-36 and 40-35. Magui made his debut and looked decent but lacks power. 6x2: Valgedur Gudsteinsdottir, 60,4, Ice/Swe W6-U Claire Sammut, 62,1, Mal 59-55 twice and 58-56. Gudsteinsdottir partly outboxed her opponent but Sammut kept coming and made a tough fight.
