EURO RESULTSBy Per-Ake Persson June 17, Aarhus, DEN; Ceres Arena, Brian Nielsen & Mogens Palle Promotion 10x3: Lolenga Mock, 75,2, Den W10-U Luke Blackledge, 75,8, UK Mock won on scores of 97-93, 96-94 and 98-92 and impressed as always with workrate, pace, determination. Blackledge was shaken in the sixth by Mock´s heavy right but weathered the storm and came on a bit in final rounds but overall Mock was too strong for him - and Blackledge is pretty strong himself. 6x3: Pierre Madsen, 115,0, Den TKO 4 (0.35) Irakli Gvenetazde, 104,0, Geo Gvenetazde was a late sub for David Vyletel and Madsen still haven´t learned to fight a southpaw and it became a messy fight. Early in fourth - it was 28-28 after three on all cards - fell over and hurt his arm and it was stopped. It should have been a technical draw. 10x3: Bruno Tavarez, 76,6, Swi W10-S Daniel Heinze, 76,7, Den Heinze was the stronger and harder puncher of the two but lost his way halfway and was outboxed by the lightpunching but fast Tavarez, who proved to be tougher than he looks. It was close and scored 96-95 and an out of line 97-93 for Tavarez and 96-94 Heinze. 10x3: Jonas Madsen, 78,9, Den W10-U Mario Baeza, 79,1, Mex Vacant IBF Youth title. Baeza came in for Egor Bakulin who came in for Ferenc Albert. Baeza looked soft around the midsection and started slowly but once he got going it was a tough fight. Madsen had a point deducted in the ninth for losing the mouthpiece three times and was credited with a knockdown after a push late in the final round. It was scored 95-93, 97-92 and 96-93. 6x3: Detlev Rossing, 90,6, Den KO 1 (1.13) Davit Ribakoni, 88,0, Geo Ribakoni was floored twice and was hurt by powerful hooks to the head and body. Ribakoni was a late sub for Kristof Demendi. 4x2: Sarah Mahfoud, 56,9, Den W4-U Jessica Sanchez, 56,7, Spa 40-36 on call cards. Mahfoud´s best performance this far. 6x3: Enock Poulsen, 63,6, Den W6-U Houchang Habib, 63,7, Fra 60-54 on all cards. Good fight. Habib was shaken in the fifth. 6x2: Ali Mohamed, 56,1, Den W6-U Jefferson Vargas, 55,2, Ecu/Spa 59-55 twice and 60-54 - numbers a bit too wide. Fast pace - too fast in fact and both missed a lot.
