Nielsen took the fight on two weeks notice after younger brother Micki pulled out and was far from top shape and neither was Acosta. Few clean punches, lots of wrestling and bad temper inbetween. 10x2: Erica Anabella Arias, 62,4, Arg W10-U Klara Svensson, 62,8, Swe Arias retained the WBC title on scores of 96-94, 98-92 and 96-93. It was even after four but late in the fifth Arias floored Svensson with a big right. It was a bad knockdown and should have been stopped but it was so late in the round that the referee allowed Klara to be saved by the bell. Svensson was gone and there was a big argument in the corner if it should be stopped or not but Svensson came out for the sixth but was stunned by every punch Arias threw in the next two rounds. She came back somewhat in the last two but Arias must have known she was ahead and eased off. 8x3: Howard Cospolite, 72,0, Fra TKO 5 (2.57) Abdul Khattab, 72,5, Den Khattab, fresh from sparring with Jack Culcay, fought in a flashy style countering Cospolite, who kept coming, and kept coming - and by the third the Dane was tiring and was dead on his feet by the fourth. Cospilite poured it on with Khattab under heavy pressure in th fifth before finally going down late in the round. He got up but was stopped. 39-37 twice for Khattab after four and 38-38. Bernard Donfack, 75,5, Ger W8-U Oscar Ahlin, 75,5, Swe 77-74 twice and 76-75 - quite an upset. Ahlin was floored in the fifth and fought as a boy vs a man. Donfack covered up well and threw hard hooks from both hands and caught Ahlin with alarming ease. Oscar kept a low left and had no snap in his jab and was a sucker for Donfack´s big right over the top. Only in the last two did Oscar put something together. 8x3: Otto Wallin, 106,0, Swe KO 4 (0.52) Beka Lobjanidze, 102,5, Geo Lobjanidze had the skills but not the conditioning and was floored by a southpaw left to the body in the third where he also had a point deducted for holding. Another left in the fourth made him go down on one knee and he sat the count out. 10x3: Tim-Robin Lihaug, 76,2, Nor TKO 3 (1.16) Istvan Zeller, 75,4, Hun Zeller ran and spoiled but was floored twice in the third by bodyshots and it was stopped. Borovski can still fight when he wants to. 6x3: Rashid Kassem, 63,0, Den KO 2 (2.10) Ante Nakic, 61,0, Cro Kassem got Nakic under pressure in the second and kept it up and floored his opponent in his own corner with two right handers.
