6x2: Suro Ismailov, 60,9, Norrköping, Swe W6-U Abdu Tebazalwa, 60,9, Stockholm, Swe
First fight for the Swedish title in 64 years but with ten ounce gloves and over 6x2 after 6x3 was rejected by the Martial Arts Delegation. However, with the use of amateur rules in the timekeeping the clock was stopped in every clinch (and they were many) and some rounds were almost three minutes as there were lots of holding and wrestling on the inside in this fastpaced, exciting fight. Ismailov won on scores of 60-55, 58-56 and 59-55.
4x3: Joel Larsson, 102,5, Kristianstad, Swe TKO 2 (1.18) Mersad Pasalic, 92,5, B & H
Larsson walked through Pasalic, a green debutant, and Mersad retired himself in the second and was by then under pressure. Pasalic was hurt by a right in the first and turned his back and could have been rescued right there.
4x3: Sven Fornling, 80,1, Malmö, Swe TKO 3 (1.31) Fadil Pasalic, 80,4, B & H
Pasalic, a southpaw, won the first on two cards (even on the third) but Fornling finally opened up in the second and floored his opponent with a body/head barrage. Pasalic then fell over a few more times and was counted over once and lost all desire to fight and it was stopped.
6x2: Anna Hultin, 56,7, Malmö, Swe W6-U Claudia Ferenci, 52,6, Slo
Ferenci weighed in fully dressed with shoes on - she showed a big heart but was much too small. 60-54 on all cards.
4x3: Simon Henriksson, 68,7, Malmö, Swe W4-U Mahmut Gorda, 69,1, Fra
Gorda is apparently based in France but is Albanian. A short, chunky, unschooled fighter but full of fight and gave Henriksson a solid workout. In the last Simon went for broke but Gorda, deadtired, fought back. 40-36 on all cards. Fight of the night!
4x2: Johanna Rydberg, 51,1, Helsingborg, Swe TKO 2 (1.43) Ana Simeunova, 49,3, Bul
Simeunova, a head taller than Rydberg weighed in fully dressed. Ana was skinny to the point were it must be asked if she was fit enough to fight. She fell over three times in the second and it was stopped.
4x3: Edward Björklund, 59,8, Ystad, Sweden TKO 1 (2.59) Ilya Zarkov, 58,8, Bul
Prodebut for Björklund. Zarkov, very greenlooking, went down from nothing much bodyshots late in the first and it was called off.
