Nov 30, Los Palacios y Villafranca, SPA: l; Carlos Perez, Spa W 4 Ignasi Caballero, Spa Cecilia Braekhus and Jennifer Retzke
Nov 29, Copenhagen, DEN; Falconercentret, Sauerland Promotion 10x2: Cecilia Braekhus, 64,6, Nor W10-U Jennifer Retzke, 66,0, Ger Braekhus retained the IBF (Retzke mandatory challenger), WBO, WBC and WBA titles in a one-sided fight on scores of 100-90 twice and a strange 98-92. Retzke was out of her league and knew it and her battleplan was to take it close and maul her opponent. Braekhus scored almost at will but could never hurt Retzke. Cecilia could be seen limping when she left the ring but if this had any effect on her performance is difficult to say. 10x3: Tim Robin Lihaug, 76,1, Nor W10-U George Beroshvili, 75,0, Geo Lihaug won the vacant WBO Youth title on scores of 97-93 twice and 99-91 after a careful, tactical fight where fear of Beroshvili´s power and dangerous hooks (especially the left) played a big part. Beroshvili could indeed punch but Lihaug could and should have been a bit more daring. 10x2: Klara Svensson, 62,7, Swe W10-U Lucia Morelli, 61,5, Offenburg, Ger WBC Interim female superlightweight title. Svensson controlled the action all the way in a matador vs bull affair where the bull just stood there protecting herself well but losing round after round. It was scored 99-91, 100-90 and 100-91. 8x3: Otto Wallin, 109,0, Swe TKO 2 (0.01) Vjekoslav Bajic, 98,5, Cro Bajic, a sub for Ivica Perkovic, was hurt and floored by a southpaw left to the body, went down, got up but never recovered and took a beating at the end of the round and retired on his stool.. 8x3: Abdul Khattab, 72,4, Ita W8-U Laurent Ferra, 72,0, Fr Ferra, a southpaw and a sub for Gaetano Nespro, kept.coming but Khattab was too quick him, countered and won on scores of 80-72 on all cards. Khattab impressed with flashy moves and fast punches. 6x3: Alexander Hagen, 78,9, Nor W6-U Karel Horejeck, 78,7, Cze 60-53, 59-54 and 57-56. Horejeck was counted over when he in the third went down from what looked like a low blow. It wasn´t a fight to remember, messy and wild with few clean punches. Horejeck had a good last round though when he shook Hagen with short hooks as the Norwegian missed. 4x3: Kai Robin Havnaa, 89,7, Nor W4-U Tomislav Rundan, 87,3, Cro Prodebut for Havnaa, son of Magne Havnaa. It was scored 40-36 on all cards but it was pretty close with Havnaa, strong and willing but much too green and eager. Rundan landed with ease when he punched but couldn´t keep it up. 4x3: Landry Kore, 71,9, Den W6-U Artem Karasev, 72,5, Rus 60-54 twice and 59-55 in a hardfought fight that looked closer. Kore was rattled in the fourth and sixth by his lanky, awkward opponent. 4x3: Steffen Andersen, 89,0, Den KO 2 (20.6) Ralf Sawetsky, 87,0, Ger Sawetsky was a very late sub for Patrick Linkert, first fight for Andersen since 1998. He´s spent a lot of time in jail and pumped a lot, a lot, of iron while there. He looked relatively good and took out the soft looking German with a left hook to the body. Steffen had a t-shirt with FREE CLAUS M on it and mr M is currently serving 16 years in jail for smuggling a lot, tons of it, drugs to Denmark 4x3: Andreas Lynggaard, 71,3, Nykobing-Falster, Den W4-U Michal Vosyka, 72,0, Cze prodebut for Lynggaard, 40-36 on all cards. Lynggaard looked green but showed quick hands. 6x3: Garvey Kelly, 65,9, Uk W6-U Gergo Vari, 67,5, Hun 60-54 twice and 60-53 (again a generous of the ten point must system). Vari was good enough to spoil and did just that while Kelly showed neat boxing but without much power. 6x3: Conrad Cummings, 74,4, NI W6-U Norbert Szekeres, 73,0, Hun 60-54 twice and 60-51 in this fight that opened the show. Cummings worked very hard in every round but couldn´t hurt his opponent. Szekeres landed with some shots of his own but Cummings kept coming.
