Mar 7, New York, NY, Barclay´s Center, Robert Helenius, 108,3, Fin TKO 4 (1.08) Adam Kownacki, 120,3, Pol/US WBA eliminator. Helenius jabbed well to the body in the first but Kownacki was right in the face of his opponent and put pressure on him. There were some hard exchanges in the second but in the third it looked as if Kownacki took over even if Helenius landed with some solid 1-2 combinations. Early in 4th Kownacki came forward but was caught by a right and went down on a knee but it was ruled as a slip (to help Kownacki perhaps?). Kownacki was hurt for real and Helenius followed up with a right and now Adam went down and now he received a count. He got up but the Finn went all out and it was stopped with Kownacki taking punishment. Had he been allowed to continue - who knows? Robert showed signs of fatigue in the third .After three it was scored 29-28 twice and 30-28 all for Kownacki..
