Mar. 17, Afragola, ITA: SL, Gianluca Picardi, Ita W 8 Davide Calì, Ita Pezhman Seifkhani
Mar 16, Örebro, SWE, Tegelbruket, est 800, Fight Life Promotion (Kamran Kabinejad) 8x3. Pezhman Seifkhani, 109,6, Swe TKO 3 (1.25) Rufino Angulo, 100,1, Bra Seifkhani won the vacant RBO title flooring Angulo twice in the third. Angulo did well in the first two putting pressure on Seifkhani but was picked apart in third. Anguilo was badly hurt but refused to go down until he finally crumbled but jumped up right away to show he wasn´t hurt - but he was. Pezhman followed up and Angulo was out on his feet and referee Mikael Hook stepped on to stop it and then Angulo fell again and dragged Hook with him. Both got up and Angulo recovered quickly. Pezhman showed good handspeed, power and is one to watch. Sami Jangirov, 89,6, Swe W6-U Marcus Alberts, 90,1, Swe Jangirov won the vacant Swedish title (first ever in this weight division) with a very hardfought win over the taller, more talented Alberts, who as always made a lot of mistakes and blew it. Alberts was badly cut over the left eye in the fourth but battled it out all the way. Both were stunned several times in what was a downright war at times. It was scored 58-56 twice and 59-56. 6x2: Patricia Berghult, 65,1, Swe W6-U Mari Tatunashvili, 65,0, Geo 60-54 on all cards in a poor fight. Tatunashvili can take it but not much more. 6x3: Marko Calic, 82,1, Cro KO 2 (2.15) Clebson Tubarao, 82,1, Bra Calic took apart Tubarao with ease, picking his shots well not wasting a punch. The best fighter on the bill and ready for bigger fights. Denis Nurja, 69,6, Ita W4-U Israrullah Yaqobzai, 69,6, Afg/UK/Swe (?) Nurja hurt the Afghan Lion with a right and the Lion went down and was out of it - and it seemed like he never recovered. Nurja looked very big for his weight divison and scored with heavy punches throughout as Yacobzai´s reflexes and punch resistance seemed gone. It was scored 40-35 and 39-36 twice. Israrullah was over the right eye in the last which was his best round. 4x3: Panagiotis Matsagkos, 69,6, Gre TKO 3 (2.12) Yaffet Amaniel, 69,6, Swe Matsagkos took some time to get started but once he found the range with his right it was all over for Amaniel, a decent boxer but far too green and weak for professional level. Yaffet was floored by a big right and was hurt but alloed to continue as he got up but was soon floored again with coach Oscar Ahlin waving the towel. Emil Pettersson, 69,6, Swe W4-U Henrich Herak, 69,6, Slo Herak looked inept and green in the first but after a lecture in boxing from Laszlo Patzerko he sharpend up and showed toughness under fire as he took a beating from Pettersson, a southpaw, who got going in the third.
