Hammer ended this mismatch with a combination in the 7th and Turunen fell face first to the canvas, tried to get up but was counted out. Hammer won the vacant WIBF title. The WBC Interim title was announced to be at stake as well but was dropped by the promoter.

Larduet looks bigger (as in fatter) with every fight, loaded up on every punch and as Aumada, too brave for his own good, tried to counter he was caught and went down heavily

Lauri was under pressure, didn't punch back and it was stopped - a lot too soon according to Lauri.

A tough day in the office but not more for Goranova as Ahlborg worked very hard to get something done. She proved to be very strong and very fit but boxingwise not much.

Koivula, trailing on points, was cut late in the eighth and the referee called a timeout early in the ninth and the doctor seemed to wave it off even before he had taken a close look. The Finn was careful, protected himself well and Martinez could never hurt him even if he won rounds. "Maravilla" was in great shape but like Sturm not what he once was.

Trenel came in as a same week sub for Andranyk Hakobyan, who pulled out due to some kind of injury. Garcia's defence of the EBU title was thus reduced to a non title fight.

First Ronny Landaeta and then Ralfs Vilcans pulled out due to a/ another fight / b illness and Budera came on a few days notice. IBO didn't approve Budera as challenger so no Interconti title at stake. Ahlin was on top throughout landing with good hooks from both hands. Budera covered up well but was finally caught by a left hook to the body, turned away, sat down and was counted out.
