Oct 4, Copenhagen (Herlev); DEN; Herlev Hallerne, Primetime Boxing Pro-am show, Herlev Fight Night, the biggest pro-am show all year. 10x3: Oliver Zaren, 76,1, Den W10-U Ante Bilic, 76,1, Cro Zaren won the vacant IBF I-C title on scores of 100-99, 98-91 and 99-90. Bilic had a point deducted in the 8th for a low blow (which looked harsh) The 42-year old Croatian came out of prison last year after 13 years behind bars and was tough, well prepared and gave it all he had. He was too slow but kept coming and was outboxed almost all the way but Zaren could never hurt him and appeared to throw arm punches only (and tried to look like his chief cornerman Mikkel Kessler). In the last 30 second Zaren decided to punch it out and it nearly backfired as Biliic caught him a few times and the Great Dane had to hold on.. Bilic was a sub for Delali Melidzi. 10x3: Pasquale Barile, 60,9, Ita KO 2 (2.38) Elias Idrissi, 61,2, Den Barile won the vacant IBF Youth title in what on paper was an upset but Idrissi was tested for the first time after nine fights with "shadow boxing". Idrissi did well in the first keeping his distance but in the second Barile caught him with hooks from both hands and finally knocked him down with a right - left hook combination. The Dane was gone, but got up and was allowed to continue and was badly knocked out by a right hook. There was no need for a count. Barile was a sub for Azeez Lateef. 6x3: Jakup Zalewski, 90,7, Nth KO 2 (2.59) Steffen Rorstrom, 90,2, Den Rorstrom was floored once in the first and twice in the second and looked very fragile all along. Durmaz finally tired and went down twice from body punches and it was stopped.
