Arslan put the pressure on his opponent from the opening bell and immediately set out about delivering some heavy punches, then scored two knockdowns in the fourth and fifth from body shots, forcing the referee to intervene and stop the contest. Arslan, EU # 16 and former WBA 200-lbs champion, reprtedly improved to 31-5-1 (20). Suda, EBU # 11 and ex European Union 200-pds titleholder, fell to 23-6-1 (15). The WBC International super-middleweight champion Nikola Sjekloca, 33 years-old from Montenegro, displayed a very fine form against former world title challenger Khoren Gevor, 31 years-old Armenian based in Hamburg, Germany, Sjekloca controlled the action from the outside, while Gevor tried to engage his opponent in a toe to toe battle. After twelve gamely rallies between two contenders Sjekloca deserved a unanimous decision. Scored: 116-112 (Robin Dolpierre), 115-113 (Predrag Aleksic) and 115-114 (Juergen Langos). Sjekloca, EBU # 10, remained unbeaten with 21-0-0 (6) and retained his belt for the second time. Gevor, EBU # 5, is reportedly 31-7-0 (16). Erkan Teper, 29 years-old German-Turkish, became the new WBC Mediterranean heavyweight champion. Teper, a hard-punching prospect, proved too powerful for Croatian Jakov Gospic, 9-3-0 (8), winning by KO in 9 round. Teper registered 6 wins in a row and scored 4 KOs. Woman Asiye Oezlem Sahin, another German-Turkish, earned a unanimous decision over Corina Carlescu, 24 yerars-old from Romania in 10 round and captured the vacant WIBF interim light-flyweight title. Sahin, 34 years-old, proved to clever and sharp for Carlescu, 6-4-0-1 NC (3), inactive from June 2009. Scored: 99-93 (Jan Teleki), 97-93 (Thomas Hakenberg) and 96-94 (Olena Pobyvailo). Sahin raised his unbeaten record to 13-0-1 (4). WBC Silver welterweight titleholder Selcuk Aydin, 27 years-old, dismissed Raman Dzekhkanau, 23 years old from Belarus, in five round. Unbeaten German-Turkish Aydin, former European 147-lbs champion, is now 22-0-0 (17).
