It was scored 116-112, 117-113, 117-113. No knockdowns, no cuts, but Povetkin was stunned by southpaw lefts in the sixth and seventh. Chagaev faded though and the fight slipped away from him. Povetkin showed a good left hook and upercut but seemed to tire and lacks the spirit shown in the Chambers fight - and I doubt Teddy Atlas can be neither praised or blamed for the downfall. Robert Helenius, 110,5, Fin/Ger TKO 9 (0.19) Siarhei Liakhovich, 105,2, Blr/US WBA and WBO I/C titles. Liakhovich started to bleed heavily from the nose in the third and it was later confirmed broken. Helenius was steady and wore down his opponent but Liakhovich punched a lot more and although he couldn´t move the big Swede/Finn he won some rounds. Helenius was too passive in the sixth and seventh but opened up in the eighth and late in the round Liakhovich went down from a few big righthanders. Early in the ninth a left upercut on the nose caused a second knockdown and it was stopped as he fell. It was scored 76-75 and 77-74 for Helenius and 76-75 for Liakhovich. Tony Averlant, 78,9, Fra TKO 11 (2.01) Artur Hein, 79,1, Ger Averland, tall, rangy and totally devoid of power, wore down Hein, or Hein wore down himself and was rescued out on his feet in the 11th. It was scored 99-91 and 96-94 for Averlant and 95-95 after ten. Dominik Britsch, 73,9, Ger W8-U Steven Bendall, 74,0, UK 78-73, 79-73 and 77-74. Bendall had a point deducted in the 4th for illegal use of the head and were lots of headclashes and both were cut and bruiser. Britsch went to the body but waded straight in and was tied up by the slower Brit. 8x3: Marcos Nader, 72,4, Aus TKO 8 (0.01) Gianmario Grassellini, 70,0, Ita Grassellini, having lost all the rounds, was retired by the ref due to a bad cut and it was announced as a tko one second into the eighth. 4x3: David Graf, 196,5, Ger TKO 1 (1.31) Vikor Szalai, 198,25, Hun announced as a KO win for Graf after three knockdowns - the first wrongly ruled as a knockdown. 4x3, c: Christian Schwaeblein, Erfurt KO 4 Armen Azizian, Arm Azizian was well on his way to a win by points or tko when he hit his arm against Schaeblein´s elbow and collapsed in pain on the floor and was counted out. This fight was highly unofficial and not announced but supervised as well as the rest of the bill by the FvA.
