Yoan Pablo Hernandez, 90,0, Cub/Ger W12-U Steve Cunningham, 89,6, US
Hernandez retained the IBF title putting on a career best performance winning on scores of 116-110, 116-111 and 115-111. Hernandez came out fast and kept it up throughout the fight. In the fourth he caught "USS Cunningham" with his southpaw left and the ex-champ went down - and was out but somehow got up only to be floored again. It should have been stopped but wasn´t and Cunningham survived the round, regrouped and came back in the sixth. It went back and forth but Hernandez never faded and fought with a lot of heart.
Eduard Gutknecht, 79,3, Ger W12-U Vyacheslav Uzelkov, 79,3, Ukr
Gutknecht retained the EBU title on scores of 116-112, 117-111 and a too close 115-114. Uzelkov looked the part early on but was outboxed and became more and more awkward in his defence and kept blinking with his eyes. Gutknecht worked hard and put on a solid performance working behind the jab and scored with one-twos for a clear win.
Alexander Alexeev, 88,5, Ger W12-U Enad Licina, 90,1, Ser
Alexeev won the vacant EBU cruiser title with a one-sided win over the brave but outclassed Licina. It was scored 118-110, 116-112 and 118-112 - scores that are generous to Licina, who was cut on the forehead after an accidental clash of heads in the second. The cut kept bleeding as Alexeev kept scoring with his fine southpaw left. Licina did well to last the distance while Alexeev still seems a but unsure of himself after the losses to Ramirez and Lebedev.
8x3: Mateusz Masternak, 89, Pol TKO 4 (1.16) Michael Simms, 90,7, US
Simms lost all the rounds, was against the ropes, not hurt and avoided much of what was coming his way but didn´t punch back and it was stopped.
Troy Ross, 86,9, Can W8-U Lukasz Rusiewicz, 90,5, Pol
80-72 twice and 79-74 after a safety first performance by Ross.
David Graf, 87,9, Ger W6-U Paul Morris, 90,7, UK
60-54 on all cards. Morris was tough and became the first to go the distance against the powerful German
