Danish welter Christian Bladt, a former EBU champ, was first to fight on the Holyfield vs Nielsen card March 5 in Copenhagen. He then got a chance to challenge Ismael El Massoudi in Casablanca, Marocco, February 5, with the WBFed crown at stake.
Then Holyfield vs Nielsen was postponed until May 7. In Marocco the show was postponed until February 11.
And now the El Massoudi fight is postponed if not off completely with no reason given.
-I feel like a caged lion, states the frustrated Bladt.

As for a supervising body the shows that this far have gotten of the ground have been what you might call unlicensed. February 25 BIB are in Bulgaria where Croatian cruiser Ivica Bacurin and Ukrainain heavy Maksim Perdiyuk appears to be sole participants with a boxing background. April 15 BIB will come to Aarhus, Denmark and there´s more coming until the finals in November in 2011.

Finnish heavy Robert Helenius and his father Kalle were pretty upset after reading Lamont Brewster´s statement that Robert had fought with tampered gloves when he stopped Brewster in Neubrandenburg last year. Kalle Helenius states he has the gloves at home ready for inspection anytime. Chris Meyer of Sauerland says that Brewster and his team had every opportunity to check the gloves of his opponent before the fight. Helenius, 14-0, will fight against April 2 and it´s rumored to be against a "name" opponent and not against Yakup Saglam as was previously planned.
